Congratulations to Asia Robinson on her promotion to Manager of Onboarding Support!
Asia started with AMP in June of 2018 as an Outside Field Sales Rep. After recognizing that sales was not the career path she wanted, she transitioned to the Admin Team at DeKalb HQ. Her strong work ethic and attention detail made her a perfect fit. Over the next few years, she became the “go-to” person for questions or issues relating to contract entry and procedures. In December of 2019, Asia was promoted to the Admin Team Lead where she added personnel management and the responsibility of deadline driven task completion to her role.
While Asia had continued to increase her overall breadth of responsibility between 2018 and 2020, she experienced tremendous career growth in 2021! Asia threw her hat in the ring to pilot the Onboarding Support Specialist role, demonstrated the value of this role and then helped grow it into a team. It was during this time that Asia found a passion for speaking with our customers, mastering a completely different aspect of the business. In November of 2021, Asia was promoted to Assistant Manager of AMP Support Services and embarked on yet another new journey at AMP by learning Accounting processes and assisting the Support team with customer outreach.
In May of this year, Asia was approached to take on another opportunity for growth, and in true Asia fashion, she did not hesitate to jump all in. AMP Support Services welcomed the Digital Onboarding Team as part of the team, transitioning them from being part of the OPTIMA™ Fulfillment Team to further align customer facing roles with an area of the business that specializes in customer interaction.
AMP Support Services was not done with growth just yet, and this month welcomed the opportunity to take on GSV Scheduling. These departmental shifts created the opportunity for Asia’s newly created role with AMP, Manager of Onboarding Support.
In Asia’s new role, she will be directly overseeing our Digital Onboarding and Onboarding Support Teams, ensuring a world class onboarding experience for all customers purchasing digital products. Anyone who has worked with Asia knows that when you give her an opportunity to learn something new, she is going to give it her all and succeed. AMP Support Services is so lucky to have her as a leader on the team and I could not be more proud of her as she starts her next new chapter at AMP.
A few fun facts about Asia…she hates being late and is always at least 10 minutes early to everything. She is a HUGE baseball fan, her favorite team being the Yankees…she even named her black lab Jeter. Asia loves spending her weekends with her dogs, family, and taking little weekend trips with her boyfriend. Building memories with the people she cares about is the most important thing to her.
